The brand name refers to the 23 pairs of chromosomes in the human genome, the angle between the median axes of the eyes and orbits, the slope of the heart relative to the chest, the cycle of the physical biorhythm, and the degrees of inclination of the Earth.

23rd Eyewear Capsule Collection, in collaboration with Dargen D'Amico

On the occasion of Mido - the international eyewear fair - the brand presented the capsule collection made in collaboration with Dargen D'Amico, an Italian rapper and songwriter who recently served as a judge on X Factor.

 

The capsule consists of 10 variants of the iconic Round One sunglasses model, a frame made of nylon derived from renewable sources, characterized by the circular metal decoration on the front as well as the removable side shields and insert on the bridge, both made of recycled rubber. The lenses are made of polycarbonate, all mirrored, with UV100% protection.

 

The chosen color range focuses on very fresh and bold shades in line with the extroverted and disruptive personality of the artist. The names that distinguish each chromatic variant are also original, inspired by Japanese culture, which is very dear to Dargen: Yumi, Kana, Koto, Meko, Hima, Kawa, Koku, Shio, Wara, Yezo.
